Need-to-Know Tips for Fixing iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Bluetooth Issues

Check Your Bluetooth Accessory

First, you have to be sure that the Bluetooth accessory that you’re trying to connect to doesn’t have any issues. To see if it’s working fine, connect the accessory with your Apple device and check.

Install the Latest iOS 14 Update

If your Bluetooth accessory isn’t the problem, the next step is to install the latest release of the iOS 14 update if you haven’t done so yet.  

Turn Off Bluetooth and Hard Reset

Once you’ve successfully installed the newest iOS 14 update, you should turn off Bluetooth and restart your device by following these steps:

• Go to Settings ˃ Bluetooth. Once you get there, turn off the Bluetooth toggle.

• You may hard reset your device by quickly pressing and releasing the Volume Up button.
• Be sure to press and release the Volume Down button right away.
• Next, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button or the Side button and wait until the Apple logo appears on your screen.
• After completing the previous steps, enable your Bluetooth again by heading over to Control Center or Settings ˃ Bluetooth.

Forget Device

If you’re Bluetooth still isn’t working as it should after you’ve followed the previous tip, try forgetting the device that you paired with.

• Go to Settings and navigate to Bluetooth

• Next, find the device name you’re supposed to connect with and tap on the “i” icon against it.
• The next step is to tap on the Forget This Device button. Don’t forget to confirm this action.
• Lastly, try pairing your iPad or iPhone with the other device again to check if you’ve resolved the problem.
