iOS 15: A Guide to Rearranging and Deleting Home Screen Pages
Thanks to your iPhone’s App Library, disabling individual Home Screen pages in iOS 14 has been made incredibly easy. Although this new way of keeping all of your apps better organized is great, it still doesn’t allow you to rearrange the order of your Home Screen pages and you can’t use it to delete a page outright.
However, Apple’s fifteenth major release of the iOS mobile operating system for the iPhone and iTouch lines makes it easy for you to rearrange and delete your Home Screen pages.
Steps To Rearranging Home Screen Pages
First, you should enter jiggle mode by touching and holding a space on the Home Screen.
Find the row of pagination dots that represent your Home Screen pages at the bottom of the screen and tap it.
You should see a Home Screen grid. You can rearrange a page in relation to your other pages by touching and dragging a page. Your drag action should trigger the others to move to make way.
Once you’re satisfied with your new arrangement, find Done in the top-right corner of your screen and tap it.
Lastly, you can exit jiggle mode by tapping Done again.
Steps To Deleting Home Screen Pages
Enter jiggle mode by long-pressing any empty space on your Home Screen.
Next, find the row of pagination dots representing your Home Screen pages at the bottom of your screen and tap it.
In the Home Screen grid, tap the tick button under the page that you wish to delete.
To delete the page, find the minus (-) icon located at the top-left corner and tap it.
When you’re finished, tap Done.
Exit jiggle mode by tapping Done again.
Even after deleting a Home Screen page, keep in mind that the apps that were on the page remain in your App Library. If you want to re-add them to your Home Screen, simply drag them out of the App Library.
