Step-By-Step Guide to Using Widgetsmith on Your iPhone

Before you get started, head over to the App Store to download the latest version of Widgetsmith for free. Once you open the Widgetsmith app, you’re free to choose any of the three widget sizes – small, medium, and large. You can customize the colors, font sizes, background colors, and tint colors of the information that’s displayed by each widget. Follow these steps:

• Click the Add button to choose the widget size you intend to create.

• Next, you may customize the widget by tapping on it.

You’ll get to choose the type of information you’d want your widget to display on your home screen. Widgetsmith offers various data sources including: Time, Date, Custom Photo, Photos in Album, Custom Text, Blank, Reminders, Calendar, Weather, Tides, Health and Activity, and Astronomy.  

Each of these data types has various options for how your preferred data type is to be displayed. After you’ve customized the font, tint, and background color, you may head back to the home screen and follow these steps:

• Long-press to entire jiggle mode before tapping the “+” icon which you can find in the upper-left corner of your screen.  
• Find the Widgetsmith app from the list of apps.
• Select the side of the widget that you created and add it.
• Long-press and select Edit Widget.

• Pick a design from the Widget option.
