Whether you’re using a fifty-dollar gadget or a Mac Pro that had cost you thousands of dollars, you’re going to run into some issues sooner or later. The Apple Watch that you’re wearing is certainly not an exception.
It doesn’t matter if you still have the first-generation Apple Watch or you just purchased the latest Apple Watch Series 6. The good news is that you can fix the most annoying Apple Watch issues that you usually encounter.
How to Troubleshoot the Most Annoying Problems
Display Won’t Turn on When You’re Raising Your Wrist
First, try to check if your Apple Watch’s Theater or Sleep Mode is activated. If either of these is turned on, the screen on your Apple Watch will automatically turn off. To check, simply slide up to find the Control Center and see if you’ve turned off both the Theater and Sleep Mode icons.
Next, check if you turned off the Wake on Wrist Raise option by accident. To activate this option on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Open the Watch app before tapping on General.
Next, select Wake Screen and make sure you turn on Wake on Wrist Raise.
You can turn on Wake on Wrist Raise by pressing its Digital Crown.
Next, find the Settings icon and tap on it before selecting General.
Be sure to tap on Wake Screen or turn on Wake on Wrist if necessary.
Apple Watch Won’t Make Calls
Make sure that both your iPhone and Apple Watch don’t need any software updates. If one of them isn’t updated, you may not be able to make phone calls using your Apple Watch.
If your Apple Watch still doesn’t work even after you’ve updated the software of both your iPhone and Apple Watch, try restarting the watch by following these steps:
Press and hold the side button before sliding power off to the right.
Next, press and hold the side button again and wait until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
